• Red Wine: His favorite drink of choice. If he had the choice to exclusively drink this for the rest of his life he would.

• Being Praised: He thrives on this.

• Blood: Kind of a given considering he’s a vampire.

• Undying Loyalty: People who are by his side through thick and thin are one of his favorite things.

• Weaklings: In the sense that they’re easy to manipulate and play with.

• Pastries: Cakes, pies, and other confectionaries.

• Gossip: He just loves talking shit.

• Gorey Movies: Or just gore in general. He’s pretty morbid.

• Doin’ the Nasty: bumpin’ bellies, touchin’ dinkies, doin’ the deed or whatever you wanna call it. He likes it.

Dislikes:

• Any Other Alcohol That Isn’t Red Wine: None can compare to it.

• Being Proven Wrong: The very thought of it makes this makes his blood boil. Imagine how he’d feel if it were to actually happen.

• Disrespect: His idea of disrespect is fairly broad. In general, going against him, not treating him seriously or treating him like a child will make him fairly angry.

• Candy: It’s a poor man’s treat.

• Sticklers: Abiding by the rules 100% is boring.

• Sickeningly Sweet/Innocent  People: They make him want to vomit.

• People Complaining About Him: He doesn’t want to hear it and he’s not going to bother listening.

• Loud People/Crowds: They give him headaches. [“Damn you sensitive ears…”]
  

Strengths/Abilities

• Blood Manipulation: Orthello has the ability to have full control over his own blood, but only once it’s exited his body. Once it has exited from his body he is able to crystallize it. He’s then able to turn it into a liquid form and place it back into his body. This power allows him to make weapons though it comes with limitations (listed below)

• Keen Senses: His senses in comparison are above average. Specifically his eyesight and hearing.

• Vampire Strength+Speed: It’s nowhere near super human strength but he can at least fair against a beast if he has to.

• Undying Loyalty: Once you have his genuine  loyalty, he will stand by you until the end of time….or at least until you cross him.

• All Fight no Flight: He’s a confrontational person and never backs down from a challenge.

• Hard Worker: Give him a task and he’ll do his damnedest to get work done on time and in the best way possible. Have a group project? He’ll do it himself and guarantee that he’ll do whatever he can do in his power to get a perfect score.

Weaknesses

• Blood Manipulation:

• If the Weapon Breaks or Shatters: the blood will be unable to go back into his body which can lead to fatal amounts of blood loss. Because of this he usually creates small needles or nothing bigger than a dagger as his main impromptu weapons.

• Weapons are Brittle: He has yet to master making his weapons strong enough to take heavy hits or even moderate blows. The biggest weapon he has is a glaive that took months to create so it could be durable enough for battle. Even then it cracks every so often which is very worrisome.

• Cannot Control Other’s Blood: Self explanatory.

• Keen Senses: Because of his heightened senses, his eyes are sensitive to bright lights and with his hearing, it’s fairly easy for him to break down due to sensory overload. Hence why he dislikes crowds or noisy people.

• Low Defense and Endurance: While he’s physically strong, Orthello is very much a Glass Cannon. He can dish heavy blows with his weapons, but he himself can’t take hits. Doesn’t help that he loses blood when he has to create weapons which makes him even weaker.

• Spiteful….VERY Spiteful: If you have done him wrong, he will do everything in his power to make sure that it is apparent that he doesn’t like you or (if possible) make your life miserable.

• Superiority Complex: He puts himself on a pedestal, and god knows he’s never gonna get down from it. This tends to get the best of him however, since he usually overestimates himself, never admits he’s wrong, and tends to point blame on others instead of himself.

• Apathy: He lacks empathy and sympathy for others in general. He finds it hard to care about others and it takes a great strain on him to find a reason to care about people.

Personality :

“Hello there! If you don’t mind me asking, love, what is your name?”

On the outside or at first glance, Orthello can be seen as a rather docile gentlemen. He speaks with confidence and always minds his manners and takes into consideration other’s feelings. He appears kind hearted and as someone who seems to be genuinely caring of others to the point of being selfless.

Sadly, that’s all a ruse. Orthello has always been a deceiving young man. He appears to be kind of sweet on the outside, but on the inside he’s nothing but rotten. In actuality he’s very manipulative, and enjoys gaining allies through underhanded means (hence why he acts so nice in the beginning) so that he either has people to a few falls for him or people who will always be by his side. He’s also very spiteful to those he deems not worthy of his very presence.

Overall he acts like a sweetheart but he’s just a sadistic wolf in sheep's clothing.

Background:

Orthello is the only child to a rather high class vampire family.  His family’s secret was usually kept in the shadows since they commonly were involved in human business and such. Growing up Orthello was spoiled. Everything he wanted, he would get. Toys, treats, you name it. It would be handed to him, no questions asked. This led to Orthello naturally becoming a spoiled brat. He’d act up and misbehave, much to his parents’ dismay.  They couldn’t reprimand him or tell him to calm down, because he saw no need to. He was their little angel who could do no wrong. Period.

    When Orthello grew older, he started to study more about magic and his abilities though he found he was not as strong as he could be. At his age, he should’ve been amazing like his parents were but he wasn’t. He couldn’t believe that he wasn’t as great as them, and decided to turn his frustration onto others rather than taking accountability for his shortcomings. Instead of complaining or spouting excuses to his parents like he usually did, he’d just turn his anger onto his maids and butlers. Whenever he failed at a sparring session, he’d blame a maid for sabotaging his weapons. If he couldn’t play a song right, just blame one of the butler’s for messing with his instrument. His parents saw no fault in their son and would never think he was lying. For that reason, Orthello started to grow a superiority complex. There was nothing wrong with him. His shortcomings were thanks to others.

     “There’s nothing wrong with me...People just want to drag me down. They fear what I am capable of at my full potential.”

    One day Orthello was preparing to practice for his daily music lesson but had thrown a temper tantrum after not finding his sheet music. He was preparing to go to his parents to blame a maid for messing with his stuff but something had caught his eye. He spotted a little envelope. Before he knew it he was transported to an unfamiliar setting…

    “Might as well make the best out of this situation..”

Additional Info:

• His eyes are grey but they appear white in natural sunlight.

• When he’s extremely pissed off, his sclera and iris turn black and his pupil turns red.

• Carries certain traits from a normal vampire:

• Is repulsed and repelled  by garlic.

• Suffers from a mild OCD. He constantly has the urge to count things such as pebbles, rice, etc.

• Sunlight causes him to break out into blisters if exposed for more than 3 minutes.

• Can speak Italian and has a fairly thick Italian accent.

• Can play the violin and piano.

• Pansexual. Is he capable of feeling romantic attraction? The world may never know…

• Is a fan of blood play.

• His arm is covered in cuts due to his powers so he always wears long sleeved shirts.
